And today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the ADARAC Aluminum Series custom truck bed ladder rack on the back of our 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Now when it comes to ladder racks, there's probably two routes that you're maybe going with this. You're either using this on the work side of things where you're carrying lumber, ladders, conduit, longer items that maybe don't fit very well in the truck bed so it's easier to put it up above the bed, where it can extend over the cab a bit. Or maybe it's more on the sports and rec side, where you plan on carrying kayaks, which, again, maybe don't fit in the bed super well. Or you'll mount something like a rooftop tent up here, where you can camp out of it and take it on some adventures while still having all of your storage in the bed underneath. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com. And we're taking a look at the Yakima OutPost Ladder Rack on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. Adding a ladder rack system to the back of your Tacoma is gonna allow you to take advantage of the negative space above your bed, and get those bigger bulkier items out on your journey along with you. With this setup, we actually have the 68 inch bars going across, so that's gonna give you an additional hangover space for tie-downs, and you can take advantage of the tie-down point on the end of your crossbar. Yakima also offers a HD strap that works in conjunction with your Yakima crossbars. You actually have a T-track slot along the top, and that's gonna allow you to put in eye loops or any other points. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul truck bed ladder rack on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. Adding a ladder rack to the back of your Toyota Tundra is gonna allow you to make use of the negative space above your bed and get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road. It's also gonna allow you to extend over the cab to get those longer pieces of lumber, PVC pipe, or even longer canoes or paddle boards. One of the cool features about the HD bars, well, couple of cool features is the fact that the dimensions of your bar is gonna allow you to use most rooftop accessories. So like the clamp here on our Yakima SkinnyWarrior, it's gonna work fine. If you want to use like a rooftop box, a rooftop fishing pole holder, like the Yakima TopWater, those are gonna be some great options to add to the top of the overhaul. more

Let's check this thing out. The CrossBed has a 500-pound weight capacity, so that's pretty stout as far as a ladder rack system. Your color options are only gonna be this grayish silver color, which looks good with the Tacoma I'm working with today. But if you have other colors, it's a matter of opinion. However, this is more of a utility workhorse type of ladder rack versus something that may look cool on your truck. more

Malone TradeSport Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2022 Toyota Tacoma- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Malone TradeSport on our 2022 Toyota Tacoma. A cargo system is gonna help you on the back of your truck to increase the ability of things that you can carry, maybe things that are even longer than the length of your bed, especially having a shorter box like on our Tacoma here today. So you're able to put lumber, ladders, PVC pipe, taking advantage of the load stops at the top. In general, you can use it also for recreational items as long as your accessories work along with it, like kayak carriers or cargo boxes. The TradeSport is made of aluminum, so that's gonna give you corrosion resistance as well as being lightweight at the same time, having a very sturdy 800 pound capacity, allowing you to transport whatever you need on the back of your vehicle. As far as the kit that you have here, it is specific for the Toyota, but it is a universal kit. more

Hey neighbors, this is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima BedRock HD on the back of our 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Let's check it out. The BedRock HD is actually a really solid system for the bed of your truck. When you're not loaded, it's gonna be minimally invasive to your rear window, so you'll be able to see pretty well without having any type of blockage from the bars unloaded. However, loaded, it helps you get a lot more storage space out of the bed of your truck. And if you're using it for transporting ladders or other things, we have integrated hooks on the end, well, spaces for the hooks, to use the Yakima HD hook strap that will clamp in one side and the other and you'd be able to ratchet it down. more

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima BedRock truck bed rack system here on our 2020 Toyota Tundra. So this is gonna be a pretty cool way of really starting to maximize your guys' bed space that you have on the back of your truck by allowing you to go ahead and throw some of your cargo or other kinds of accessories here on the top of your bed, gaining you access to lead that bulky cargo underneath it. And again, just giving you a little bit more of a better cargo management system. What's gonna be excellent about these guys, we are only on a nice HD bar set, giving us very good support here, making it really solid and sturdy I really do like these HD bars you guys are probably seeing on that end, too. And nice little tie-off point to go ahead, start securing all of our cargo as well and we can kinda just use that to hold some of our bigger, bulkier cargo, which is really nice. Now the bars themselves are gonna be made of aluminum, however, it has a really good support structure throughout the entirety of it. more

Now, what's awesome about this rack as you can see is how it can carry everything you need on top and maximize your space, so you can also carry things inside your truck bed underneath. And my favorite part about this rack is how low profile it is. So as you can see, I can still reach up and over to put things inside the cargo basket, as well as it's a lot easier for me to mount a bike up there as compared to racks that might be a bit taller. Hi, everyone. Aiden here with "etrailer." Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul Adjustable Ladder Rack and seeing how it installs on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. So the way this mounts up is actually using our existing utility track system on our Tundra. So if you've got another Toyota truck or a Nissan truck this kit's gonna come with the adapter pieces to allow this to work with that track system, makes the install process very easy and maintains the full weight capacity. And like I mentioned before this is a height adjustable system, so from the top of the bed rail to the top of the crossbar it can be adjusted anywhere from 19 all the way up to 30 inches of height. We've got our set at 25 right now which gives us just enough clearance over the top of the cab. more

Inno Truck Bed Cargo Rack Review - 2020 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at the Inno truck bed cargo rack system on a 2020 Toyota Tacoma. Now, as you can see here, we have our racks installed and they're nice steel construction with a black powder coat finish. So they look great and they're gonna hold up. You also have these nice brackets here that look pretty sharp, nice machine finished, good hardware, brackets, also powder-coated. And so overall, this is gonna keep your truck protected, but also give you the utility of the rack, whether it be installing bikes, which this can hold up to two with any square bar mounted bike rack, up to 110 pounds total. So if you need to grab lumber, a ladder, camping accessories, kayak, whatever you need, this is gonna do it for you and still allow for you to load stuff underneath and keep your truck bed closed, which is nice for your rear view camera, and also just keeping your stuff in the bed. more

If you have a tonneau cover, or if you want to add a tonneau cover to your vehicle but you also want a ladder rack, these are great options because these mount into the T-Track channels on your tonneau cover. So make sure you have that channel right there so that you can mount through these ladder racks to it. This works with Pace Edwards, RetraxPRO and really any other tonneau cover that has those channels. more

This is a great ladder rack, especially if you want one that can be adjusted. So the overall HD has these adjustable towers that go up and down. So the lowest point is at about 15 inches and the highest point is at 30 inches. So if you want something that is fixed, Yakima also has other options like the Yakima Outpost HD or the Lower Bedrock HD. more

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2020 Toyota Tundra and we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Bedrock HD system. If you're really looking to maximize your Tundra just to be able to get more stuff in your bed, we're going to be able to use the whole entire bed, but we're going to just have these bars to put a bunch of different accessories on here, whether it's just a cargo basket, you can get a big ol' tray to put a bunch more accessories on here, or just a couple of bike racks. This is going to just add a second tier to your truck without having to have a big ol' ladder rack or having to mess with a roof rack.As far as the bars go, they're going to be 78-inches long, made of aluminum, so they're going to be able to withstand all of that moisture and salt on the roads if you keep them on during the winter. They are going to have a nice, powder-coated finish and honestly, it looks really, really good with this color Tundra.As far as the bar go, they are going to have about three inches this way and about an inch and a half the other, so if you do have a clamp-on type of accessory, make sure it's going to be compatible with these type of bars. Most are, but you always want to double check.As far as T-tracks go, I really like the way that this bar handles the T-track accessories. more

This has an 800 pound weight capacity, and it comes in both a silver finish or a matte black finish as you can see, we have here today. The ladder rack is a great way to give you more cargo-carrying capacity. As you can see, we have our ladder here. It's a little bit longer than our short bed here, and we could probably fit it if we put it at a diagonal or maybe loaded on top of the tailgate, we're putting the ladder rack here. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2019 Toyota Tacoma TH500XT-XK4- Video
John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com, and today we have our 2019 Toyota Tacoma. We are test fitting the Thule Xsporter Pro ladder rack. It has a 450-pound weight capacity, and it is a great way to add more cargo capacity, and more area to your pickup, without having to install a roof rack, or maybe add a cargo carrier in the back. As you can see our ladder here is slightly bigger than our truck bed, and so installing a ladder rack means we can cost the ladder up there and not have to set it diagonal and take up most of the bed, or maybe have it hanging up or tailgate down, really opens up the possibility to how much more cargo you can carry with your pickup.This ladder rack system, has two different mounting options depending on if you have the deck rail system in your Tacoma or not. It normally comes with the C-clamp and it just clamps over your bed rail secures on the underside of your bed rail. I did wanna show this because it has the bracket you can take this bracket off and put it on the bracket that we are, or the clamps that we we're using today for installation, and what this bracket does is it lets you put on the locking cover. more

Collin: Hey guys, it's Collin here at etrailer and today we have a 2019 Toyota Tundra. So we want to go ahead and do a test fit of the Yakima OutPost HD Truck Bed Rack. This is a mid-height truck bed rack. It's available in two different kits.Now, like I said, this is a fixed mid-height truck bed rack, so it cannot adjust up and down. It does sit a little bit lower than a lot of other ladder racks out there. You can see that we are at about the halfway point of our cab, maybe a little bit higher, so any super long loads we want to carry, probably not going to be the most ideal situation. more

Reese Ladder Racks Review - 2002 Toyota Tundra- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2002 Toyota Tundra, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Reese Towpower TransRACK Ladder Rack, that's part number RP7063500.Now, this has a weight capacity of 800 pounds. That's awesome because it's made out of aluminum, so it's right up there with the premium or steel ladder racks with its weight capacity. The other nice thing with it being aluminum is it's going to be resistant to rust and corrosion, so we don't have to worry about the elements causing any harm.Now, ladder racks can be very beneficial. For one, they're going to allow us to carry our elongated items above our truck bed, freeing up space inside of our truck bed for more equipment or gear. Another nice thing is if you are someone who has a few water crafts, such as kayaks or paddle boarded, you're going to be able to carry those as well, freeing up more space in your truck bed for other things like your bikes.You do have to provide your own straps, so just keep that in mind when purchasing a ladder rack. You'll need to provide your own unless you have some. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the T-Rac Pro2 ladder rack. This TracRac ladder rack is great for vehicles with the deck rail system like our Tacoma here, because the clamps are specifically designed to work with that so you now can haul your ladders, your home improvement equipment, or your stand-up paddle boards or kayaks when you're going to the lake. And since this is a clamp-on style, it's just as easy to put on as it is to take off. Plus, there's no drilling required, which is a huge bonus. And to help protect the bed rails, they do provide these shims to give you a little bit of cushion once you put the ladder rack in place and clamp it down. While it doesn't come with the tie-downs to secure your load, it does provide eight points to secure your load on your ladder rack. more

Part number: 59799.The Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Ladder Rack is a lightweight aluminum ladder rack, specifically designed to work with your Tacoma's deck rail system on the inside while maintaining use of the tie downs of your deck rail system.While it's designed to carry ladders, it certainly isn't limited to just that. This can carry anything from lumber to home improvement materials, or even kayaks and stand up paddle boards while you're heading to the lake.Even with the ladder installed, you still have plenty of space to store anything in your truck bed, and again, you do have full use of your tie downs to secure those loads. The ladder rack has a carrying capacity of 800 pounds. It does have lockable end caps. With the end cap removed, you can also see it has a T-track system. To use T-track accessories with this, such as load stops, which are sold separately, you would remove the strip, place in your load stops, cut the strip to length, and put it back in place. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Tacoma we're gonna be test fitting the Thule Xsporter Pro adjustable height truck bed ladder rack, part number TH500XT-XK4. This is the silver color. This also comes in black as part number TH500XTB-XK4.The Thule Xsporter Pro is a pretty unique ladder rack in that it's height can be adjusted, meaning you can adjust the height to use this with an existing roof rack if you have things that go beyond your actual ladder rack, or you can have things such as the ladder, the lumber, or your home improvement equipment above the cab like you see here. Or you can even adjust it to go below the cab to carry items such as tents.Another feature that makes this ladder rack unique is it works with vehicles with a deck rail system, like you see here, using the special clamps. It does come with load stops, which are adjustable back and forth by loosening and tightening the knobs here, so you can keep those in place while you tie them down.While it doesn't include any tie-downs for your ladders or your gear, there are several options at etrailer.com that you can find that will suit that purpose.This does have a two track up at the top, and this is how you slide your load stops back and forth. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the T-Rac Pro2 ladder rack, part number TA37005. This TracRac ladder rack is great for vehicles with the deck rail system like our Tacoma here because the clamps are specifically designed to work with that so you now can haul your ladders, your home improvement equipment or your stand up paddle boards or kayaks when you're going to the lake. And since this is a clamp on style, it's just as easy to put on as it is to take off. Plus, there's no drilling required, which is a huge bonus. And to help protect the bed rails, they do provide these shims to give you a little bit of cushion once you put the ladder rack in place and clamp it down.While it doesn't come with the tie downs to secure your load, it does provide eight points to secure your load on your ladder rack. It's made with a lightweight aluminum construction but is still strong and durable with the weight capacity of 1,000 pounds.Now that we've gone over some of the features of the ladder rack, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. more

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tundra, we're taking a look at the Track Rack Track 1 Truck Bed Ladder Rack. That part number is TA27000-01. Now, this is a silver ladder rack with an 800 pound weight capacity. You'll see that it's aerodynamic. We're gonna jump up here and work on our passenger side, securing our last clamp in place, then we'll go over a few more features. We'll be here on our passenger side. Yakima BedRock Truck Bed Cargo Rack Review - 2002 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today on our 2002 Toyota Tundra well be test fitting the Yakima Bedrock Truck Bed Cargo Rack for Midsized Trucks part number Y01140-66. Well begin our test fit by placing the front bar onto the front of our bed. Well adjust the towers to fit the width of our truck bed and then using the included Allen wrench to screw them in place. Well then place our rear bar onto the rear of our bed and again adjust the towers to fit the width of our truck bed. Well then go ahead and measure the spread of the rails to make sure that they are parallel. This will make it easier when loading up our accessories. more
